Footscray Art Crawl as part of Westside Discovery Tours 28JUNE14

If you missed West Projections don't fret, join the free Footscray Art Crawl as part of Westside Discovery Tours on the 28th of June.

We will begin at Trocadero Art Space with a committee member talk on the current exhibitions, followed by Five Walls Projects who have a curated show by Kieran Boland of 11 video artists, on our way to our next  destination we will see some public art of Footscray, in a lane way we will visit Colour Box Studio artist Tasha Whittle painting a large scale mural called "Cosmic Forest" accompanied by a jazz pianist, a new addition to our art crawl will be the Art Room situated at the Cotton Mills with an introduction by Erika Gofton and a short walk along the river will bring us to our final space Footscray Community Arts Centre.

Bookings can be made http://www.maribyrnong.vic.gov.au/Page/Page.aspx?Page_Id=10713.

Instruction Songs continue in Maddern Square, Footscray.

West Projections maybe finished but not the sound piece Instruction Songs by Faux and Co.
Instruction Songs is a series of public announcements installed at Madden Square. Playing over an 8 hour cycle, a Footscray Market spruiker will call-out instructions to the public on the hour from 2pm to 9pm each day. From how to flee an oppressive regime, to how to communicate in sign language, each broadcast presents a different set of instructions.
